Noise (creaking) is heard when the clutch pedal is operated

With the engine idling and the gearbox in neutral, press the clutch pedal fully down and see whether the noise disappears. Then, with the engine running and the handbrake on to lock the wheels, engage first gear and release the clutch to see whether the noise disappears.Move on to Step 11.
