Removing ( Refitting )
- fore removing and refitting the window bag module the following preliminary operations must be carried out:
Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it;- Disconnect the battery leads and insulate them.- Wait for 10 minutes before continuing.
FOLLOW ALL THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (see 5580C - Precautions).
- Unless otherwise specified, work on both sides.    Op. 7040H30 FRONT PILLAR TRIM (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7040H38 CENTRE PILLAR UPPER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R     Op. 7040H80 REAR PARCEL SHELF - R.R.     Op. 7040G30 BOOT LIGHT BULB HOLDER - R.R.    Op. 7040H66 LEFT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R .     Op. 7040H67 RIGHT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R .     Op. 7040E14 L/H OR R/H SIDE COURTESY LIGHT (ONE) - R+R     Op. 7040E10 FRONT COURTESY LIGHT - R+R     Op. 7065C34 SUN BLIND (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7065C30 GRAB HANDLE (ONE) LEFT, RIGHT OR CENTRE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT INTERIOR - R.R     Op. 7040L37 GEAR LEVER TRIM - R.R     Op. 7040L73 BOTTLE-HOLDER/ASHTRAY ON REAR TUNNEL TRIM - R.R.    Op. 7040L70 TUNNEL COVER REAR TRIM - R.R.    Op. 7040L20 TUNNEL COVER - R.R     Op. 7040A65 CONSOLE SIDE CLOSING (ONE) - R.R.    Op. 7040A47 ODDMENTS POCKET UNDER DASHBOARD - R.R.- Lower the front seats, then move them backwards into the end of travel position. Lastly, recline the seat backrests into the end of travel position.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the side courtesy light mountings (1b).2. Release the door housing seals in the area of the roof lining.3. Lower the roof lining.
    Op. 5580C52 WINDOW BAG MODULE (ONE) LH OR RH - R.R WITH INTERFERING PARTS REMOVED Refitting ( Removing )     Op. 5580C52 WINDOW BAG MODULE (ONE) LH OR RH - R.R WITH INTERFERING PARTS REMOVED - Position the roof lining and fit the door housing seals.- Position the side courtesy light housings and tighten the bolts.- Return the front seats to their normal position.    Op. 7040A47 ODDMENTS POCKET UNDER DASHBOARD - R.R.    Op. 7040A65 CONSOLE SIDE CLOSING (ONE) - R.R.    Op. 7040L20 TUNNEL COVER - R.R     Op. 7040L70 TUNNEL COVER REAR TRIM - R.R.    Op. 7040L73 BOTTLE-HOLDER/ASHTRAY ON REAR TUNNEL TRIM - R.R.    Op. 7040L37 GEAR LEVER TRIM - R.R     Op. 7065C30 GRAB HANDLE (ONE) LEFT, RIGHT OR CENTRE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT INTERIOR - R.R     Op. 7065C34 SUN BLIND (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7040E10 FRONT COURTESY LIGHT - R+R     Op. 7040E14 L/H OR R/H SIDE COURTESY LIGHT (ONE) - R+R     Op. 7040H67 RIGHT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R .     Op. 7040H66 LEFT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R .     Op. 7040G30 BOOT LIGHT BULB HOLDER - R.R.    Op. 7040H80 REAR PARCEL SHELF - R.R.     Op. 7040H38 CENTRE PILLAR UPPER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R     Op. 7040H30 FRONT PILLAR TRIM (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. - Connect the battery.- Use an Examiner to check that the system has not acquired errors during the operation.
