Removing ( Refitting ) - Move the front seat driver''s side forward to the end of travel and lift completely.1. Using a cutter, cut carpet along marked cutting lines (1a) and (1b). 1. Lift the edge of the carpet.2. Undo the control unit nut.3. Detach the electrical connection for the control unit.

4. Remove the control unit. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the control unit is not damaged.1. Connect electrical connection (1a) and position control unit (1b).2. Tighten the nut securing the control unit.

3. Lower the edge of the carpet. 1. Apply two strips (1a) of velcro material on the carpet cut lines so as to secure edge of carpet (1b) into position. - Return the seat to the correct position.
