- Open the front door.1. For the driver-side door only. Remove handle (1a) from the bonnet lid release lever, releasing its retainers (1b).
1. Unscrew the bolts securing the running board.2. Remove running board (2a) by releasing inner retainers (2b) using the special tool.

- Check that the running board is not damaged.- Place the running board in position and attach the retainers.- Tighten the running board retaining bolts.- Position handle for the bonnet lid release lever, and engage its retainers.
