Removing ( Refitting )

The operation should be carried out with the crossmember removed.

1. Detach the electrical connection.

1	FRONT/AIR CONDITIONING - HEATER COUPLING	See D008 AIR CONDITIONING-HEATER FRONT COUPLING

2. Disconnect the wiring retainer from the air conditioning casing.3. Undo the bolts securing the air conditioning casing to the crossmember.4. Remove the air conditioning casing. 1. Disconnect electrical connections (1a, 1b, 1c).

2. Remove the crossmember wiring retaining bands.3. Disconnect the crossmember wiring retainers.4. Remove the dashboard wiring. 1. Unscrew bolts (1a) and remove junction unit/body computer (1b).2. Recover the under-dashboard crossmember. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the crossmember from under the dashboard is not damaged.- Position the body computer/ junction unit on the crossmember and tighten the bolts.- Position the dashboard wiring and secure it to the crossmember using the retainers and retaining bands.- Connect the electrical connections to the junction unit/body computer.1. Position the air conditioning casing on the crossmember.2. Tighten the bolts securing the air conditioning casing to the crossmember.

3. Connect the wiring retainer to the air conditioning casing.4. Secure the electrical connection.
