| 2 | Turn the ignition key OFF.Disconnect the cable loom connector from the engine temperature sender unit See K036 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR/SENDER UNIT Turn the ignition key ON.Measure the voltage between Pin 1 and the sender unit earth See K036 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR/SENDER UNIT checking that it is between 4.8 and 5.2 V.
