Removing ( Refitting ) - Release the rear seat backrest and move it.1. Remove the striker surrounding trim (1a) releasing the retainers (1b).2. Undo the striker fixing bolts. 1. Remove the striker. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the striker is not damaged.- Position the striker.1. Screw in the bolts without tightening them.2. Carefully attach the backrest to the striker to centre the striker on the lock.

The arrows indicate the possible striker movements.

- Release the backrest and move it.3. Tighten the bolts.Check that the striker is correctly centered on the lock.4. Position the striker surrounding trim and attach the retainers. - Attach the backrest to the striker.
