198003712 - 1060OF CHECK ON CHANGE IN PRESSURE AT THE FUEL FILTER

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.- Connect the pressure transducer for the diagnostic equipment between the supply pipe (2) and the fuel filter inlet connector (1) using Kit N° 1870885000 (connector pipes) used with Kit EX 07 housed in case N° 1806338000.- Reconnect the negative battery lead.Turn the ignition key to the ON position.Make a note of the pressure reading on the gauge (value between 3.5 and 5 bar)- Turn the ignition key OFF.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.- Disconnect the transducer from the filter inlet and connect it between the filter outlet (point 3) and the supply outlet pipe (point 4).- Reconnect the batttery and turn the ignition key ON.- Make a note of the pressure reading on the gauge.- Check that the change in pressure between the filter inlet and outlet is not more than 0.4 bar; if it is higher, replace the fuel filter.
