Visually inspect that during start-up, the turbocharger actuator connecting rod (turbine stator vanes adjustment device) moves by around 10 mm in the direction of the actuator.With the engine switched off, connect connector EX09 from case N° 1806338000 of the diagnostic equipment and the 5 bar pressure transducer EX06 in the section of pipe between the actuator and the solenoid valve.Select intake pressure measuring gauge in instrument mode.Start up the engine and let it idle, then wait until pressure pressure stabilizes.The reading should not exceed 590 and 720 mbar (450-550 mmHg).Select "pressure gauge" on the Examiner and prepare for the acquisition of data in "intake pressure" mode with a 2000 mmHg end of scale and selection time of 10 seconds.Road test the vehicle (sticking to the speed limits in force) as follows:Start the acquisition of the graph on an extra-urban route by pressing the start button on the diagnostic equipment and after about 5 secs with 2nd gear engaged let the engine speed reach 4000 rpm and engage 3rd gearDisplay the resulting graph and read a value of about 980 mbar (745 mmHg) for the maximum peak corresponding to a vacuum reading of 20 mbar.
