) 1. Disconnect the power unit support chain, gearbox side and connect it to the bracket as illustrated.

1. Open the protective cover, loosen the nut and remove the starter motor wiring.2. Undo the bolts (2a), (2b) and remove the starter motor (2c).

1. Undo the bolts fixing the gearbox to the engine oil sump.2. Undo the bolts fixing the flywheel guard to the gearbox, differential side.

1. Undo the bolt fixing the flywheel guard to the gearbox.2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the reversing switch.

1. Undo the nut fixing the gearbox to the engine.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the gearbox (1b) from the engine.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Fit the gearbox in its seat and tighten the fastenings to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection for the reversing switch.- Tighten the bolts fixing the flywheel guard to the gearbox.- Place the starter motor in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the starter motor electrical wiring, tighten the nut and close the protective cover.
