Undo the two bolts securing the shock absorber to the steering knuckle.

1. Unscrew the nut (1a), fit the tool (1b) and disconnect the steering link (1c) from the strut.

- Prise up the left driveshaft from the differential and secure it appropriately. Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R - Unscrew the brake-clutch fluid reservoir plug and fit the tool.

1. Adjust the retaining clips (1a) and disconnect the oil input pipe to the clutch control actuator (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the reversing switch.

3. Undo the bolt (3a) and remove the earth lead (3b).

1. With the gear lever in neutral, insert the locking pin in the gear selection-engagement unit.2. Disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables.3. Adjust the clips and disconnect the gear selection-engagement cables from the reaction bracket.

1. Fit the tool (1a) complete with support mountings (1b).

2. Fit the tools (2a) and (2b), then connect them to the brackets fitted previously using the links.

- Remove the flexible mounting for the power unit support, gearbox side with reference to Op. 1008B30 GEARBOX SIDE SUPPORT FLEXIBLE MOUNTING(S) - REPLACE - Remove the rigid support for the power unit, gearbox side with reference to Op. 1008A42 POWER UNIT RIGID SUPPORT - GEARBOX SIDE - R.R. 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and the bolt (1b) fixing the gearbox to the engine together with the lower Lambda sensor wiring retaining bracket.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the flywheel guard to the gearbox.2. Undo the bolts fixing the gearbox to the engine oil sump.

1. Support the gearbox as illustrated using the brackets (1a) and the hydraulic jack (1b).

1. Undo the lower nut securing the rigid air supply pipe to the throttle body.2. Undo the bolt (2a) securing the gearbox to the engine together with the lower bracket (2b) securing the rigid air supply pipe to the throttle body.

1. Undo the nut fixing the gearbox to the engine.2. Remove the gearbox from the engine.

) - Place the gearbox in position using the support tools.

- Tighten the fastenings securing the gearbox to the engine to the recommended torque.

- Remove the gearbox support tools.- Tighten the lower nut securing the rigid air supply pipe to the throttle body.- Tighten the bolts fixing the flywheel guard to the gearbox. - Place the flexible mounting for the power unit support, gearbox side in position with reference to Op. 1008B30 GEARBOX SIDE SUPPORT FLEXIBLE MOUNTING(S) - REPLACE - Refit the gearbox side rigid power unit support with reference to Op. 1008A42 POWER UNIT RIGID SUPPORT - GEARBOX SIDE - R.R. - Remove the engine support tools.- Place the gear selection and engagements cables in their seats and secure to the reaction bracket using the clips.- Connect the cables to the gear selection and engagement unit and remove the locking pin. - Use a three-way connector to connect the oil input pipe to the clutch control actuator and close the retaining clip.- Connect the electrical connection for the reversing switch.- Connect the earth lead to the gearbox and tighten the bolt. Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R Op. 5520B10 STARTER MOTOR - R+R - Connect the left driveshaft to the gearbox differential.- Connect the steering link to the steering knuckle and tighten the nut to the specified torque.
