198001780 - I059 INTERIOR LIGHTS DO NOT GO OFF / COME ON GRADUALLY

The timed interior lights operate when controlled manually, but the dimmer does not work when the doors are opened.

When one of the side doors is opened, the courtesy light timer comes on for 3 minutes and light activation/deactivation is gradual (dimmed). When the vehicle is unlocked after operating the remote control, the courtesy light comes on for 15 seconds, which is interrupted by the key on signal. If the key on signal is present continuously after opening a door, the courtesy lights come on.
