The Brake Node sends the ABS warning light on message via the C-CAN to the Body Computer which makes it available via the gateway to the Instrument Panel Node through the B-CAN.

If there are problems in the C-CAN, the control unit warning lights for this network will light up. The "CAN INFORMATION" check is designed for this eventuality

		TEST RESULTS
	Keeping the diagnostic instrument connected, check the following on the BRAKE NODE:- that there are no system/component errors- that there are no CAN faults	Move on to Step 2	1. ABS system/components faulty2. Fault on C-CAN network	1. Continue following the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment2. Move on to Step 9
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Using the Examiner diagnostic equipment check, in Instrument Panel mode, that there are no errors and that the parameters are present.	Move on to Step 3	Presence of errors	Continue following the instructions on the diagnostic instrument
3	ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the electricity supply to the Instrument Panel Node is correct.	Move on to Step 4	Fault in positive electrical supply and/or earth.	Replace defective component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).
4	ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the electrical connections between the Body Computer and the Instrument Panel. In particular, check that each individual pin is properly connected.	Move on to Step 5	Electrical connections not operational.	Renew the damaged electrical connections.
5	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	With the Examiner in the Instrument Panel Node ambient check that the ESP warning light is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis.	Move on to Step 6	The ESP warning light does not flash	Replace the Instrument Panel Op. 5560B10 CONTROL PANEL - R+R
6	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Using an Examiner check, in Body Computer Node mode, that there are no errors.	End of diagnosis	1. Impossible to connect to the Body Computer control unit.2. Presence of errors.	1. Move on to Step 72. Continue by following the instructions on the diagnostic instrument.
7	ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the electricity supply to the Body Computer Node is correct.	Move on to Step 8	Fault in positive electrical supply and/or earth.	Replace defective component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).
