1. Unscrew the steering column upper cover retaining bolts.2. Move steering column upper cover (2a), then separate it from flexible cover (2b).

- Check that the steering column cover is not damaged.- Connect the steering column upper cover to the flexible cover.- Position the steering column upper cover.- Tighten the bolts.- Position the steering column lower cover.- Tighten the steering column lower cover retaining bolts.- Position the cover and engage the retainers.

1. Remove cover (1a), releasing retainers (1b).2. Unscrew the steering column lower cover bolts.3. Remove the steering column lower cover.
