198003738 - 5580AE CRUISE CONTROL OPERATION ROAD TEST CHECK

- Drive the car on the road,- Turn on the CRUISE CONTROL system and set the ON/OFF switch on the CRUISE CONTROL stalk to ON- Check the Cruise Control warning light comes on.-Drive the vehicle at around 50 or 70 km/h in 4th gear (according to the maximum speed limit on the road).-Turn the control wheel on the CRUISE CONTROL stalk towards SET + and release it immediately to store the speed reached.- Remove your foot from the accelerator and check the vehicle maintains the set speed.- Turn the control wheel on the CRUISE CONTROL stalk toward the SET+ position and maintain the position to increase the speed to around 70 or 90 km/h (according to the maximum speed limit on the road).
Do not operate the accelerator.
-Release the control wheel and maintain the set speed for a few seconds.-Press the BRAKE pedal and release immediately, then wait for the vehicle speed to drop to around 50 or 70 km/h.Do not operate the clutch.- Press and release the RESUME key on the end of the stalk and check that the vehicle returns to the last speed value stored (around 70 or 90 km/h, according to the speed set previously).
Do not operate the accelerator.
-Press the CLUTCH pedal and release immediately, then wait for the vehicle speed to drop to around 50 or 70 km/h.
Do not operate the brake
- Press and release the RESUME button on the end of the CRUISE CONTROL stalk and check that the vehicle returns to the last speed value stored (around 70 or 90 km/h, according to the speed set previously).
Do not operate the accelerator.
-Turn the control wheel on the CRUISE CONTROL stalk towards SET- to reduce vehicle speed to around 50 or 70 km/h.
