Removing ( Refitting ) - Remove the rear parcel shelf.    Op. 7015A04 TAILGATE INTERIOR PANEL - R+R     Op. 5550D16 THIRD BRAKE LIGHT - R+R     Op. 7015B10 SINGLE TAILGATE LOCK - R+R OR REPAIR WITH PANEL/PROTECTION REMOVED 1. Disconnect the electrical connections (1a, 1b).

2. Disconnect the heated rear windscreen electrical connections (2a, 2b).

3. Release the wiring retainers from the tailgate.4. Tape the pipe of rear screen jet (4a) with wiring (4b) of third brake light connector (4c). Connect a probe to the end of the wiring near the connector (4c) to facilitate subsequent removal of the wiring.5. Tape the wiring of connectors (1a, Ib, 2a) with the main wiring (5a). Connect a probe to the end of the wiring near the connector (2b) to facilitate subsequent re-insertion of the wiring.6. Release the cable duct (6a) from the tailgate opening (6b).7. Extract wiring (4a) and wiring (5a) from the tailgate passing through the opening (6b).
1. Support the tailgate appropriately and, using a screwdriver, release the lifting devices upper retaining clips (without detaching them).2. Undo the bolts for the hinges.3. Remove the tailgate.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the tailgate is not damaged.- Position the tailgate and screw in the bolts fixing it to the hinges without fully tightening them.- Attach the support devices and fit the clips.- Refit the wiring inside the tailgate using the probes connected previously and remove the taping.- Fit the cable duct and secure the wiring to the retainers.- Connect the all electrical connections.    Op. 7015B10 SINGLE TAILGATE LOCK - R+R OR REPAIR WITH PANEL/PROTECTION REMOVED     Op. 5550D16 THIRD BRAKE LIGHT - R+R     Op. 7015A04 TAILGATE INTERIOR PANEL - R+R     Op. 7015A14 TAILGATE - ADJUST CENTRING AND PROFILE - INCLUDES HINGE AND COMPARTMENT SEAL ADAPTATION
