199002691 - 4420OB CHECKS ON CORRECT TIGHTENINGS FOR REAR SUSPENSION

Position the vehicle on a two column lift.Raise the vehicle and check that the various rear suspension fastenings are correctly tightened.
If the area where the noise is coming from has been identified, firstly check the fastenings in that area, otherwise follow the order indicated.
Using a torque wrench calibrated to the recommended value, check that the bolts fixing the axle brackets to the bodyshell (1) are tightened to the torque given below.
