Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Release the wiring retaining clip from the bracket for the engine oil dipstick upper tube.2. Release the engine oil dipstick (2a), undo the bolt (2b) and remove the engine oil dipstick upper tube (2c) complete with gasket.

Use suitable pliers along the actual tube axis for the removal of the engine oil dipstick upper tube.

The lower engine oil dipstick tube is fitted in the engine block.

Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the engine oil dipstick upper tube, complete with new gasket, in its housing and secure it to the camshaft using using the bolt.- Attach the wiring retaining clip and place the engine oil dipstick in its housing.

Check the seal of the connection for the engine oil dipstick tubes.
