FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Climate control unit M70 is supplied directly at pin 30 from a line protected by fuse F38 of engine compartment control unit B1 while pin 39 receives a supply from the line of fuse F24 of relay T6 of B1: this ignition-operated supply (INT) is controlled from pin 1 of connector A of M1;Pin 40 of M70 is earthed.Climate control unit M70 is connected – from pins 1 and 2 - via the CAN line, to Body Computer M1 and to the other network nodes.    See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES The solar sensor K90 informs the control unit of the heat coming from the sun''s rays: it receives a 5V power supply from pin 7 of control unit M70 and gives out two signals: to pin 19 for the right area, to pin 10 for the left area.Sensors K111 (right lower treated air) and K113 (left lower treated air), K110 (right upper treated air) and K112 (left upper treated air) are connected to control unit M70: these sensors receive a reference earth from pin 11 and send signals to pins 20, 17, 9 and 18 of M70:The recirculation actuator N82 is operated by the control unit M70 from pins 12 and 22.Mixer actuators N78 and N79 are controlled by control unit M70 from pins 32-37 and 35-24 respectively, they receive a power supply for control of the potentiometer from pin 31 of M70, a referenence earth from pin 11 of M70, and send a feedback signal to pins 25 and 26 of M70.Mixer actuators N112 and N113 are controlled by control unit M70 from pins 33-34 and 36-38 respectively, they receive a power supply for control of the potentiometer from pin 31 of M70, a reference earth from pin 11 of M70, and send a feedback signal to pins 27 and 28 of M70.The sensor which measures the outside temperature is located on the passenger door mirror P61: the sensor is connected to Body Computer M1 and from there, via the CAN, to M70.Body Computer M1 - connector G - is supplied directly from the battery from a line protected by maxifuse F2 of engine compartment control unit B1. It is ignition-operated (INT) at pin 32 of connector D. Pin 10 of connector H of M1 supplies a reference earth to the Body Computer.Fan N85 si supplied from a line protected by fuse F18 of engine compartment control unit B1 and from relay T5 of B1: this is an "ignition-operated except during start-up (INT/A)" supply controlled from pin 13 of connector A of M1.It receives the different speed controls from electronic governor M72: this receives the PWM regulation signal from pin 5 of control unit M70 and sends a feedback signal to pin 29 of M70.
