Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Position the gear lever in neutral.1. Disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables.2. Move the locking bush (2a) backwards and remove the gear selector cable (2b).3. Move the locking bush (3a) backwards and remove the gear engagement cable (3b).
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and the bolt (1b).- Secure the exhaust pipe to the bodyshell appropriately.
1. Undo the clips (1a) and remove the cover (1b) from the gearbox hand lever mount.
1. Disconnect the cables (1a), compress the clips (1b) and remove the gear selection and engagement cables (1c) from the gearbox hand lever support (1d).
Refitting

- Place the gear selector and engagement cables in position and, using manual pressure, connect the rear terminals to the ball joints for the gearbox hand control lever.- Fit the cover for the support and secure it using the clips.- Release the exhaust pipe from the temporary fastening and connect it to the flange for the catalytic converter and to the mounting bracket.- Lower the vehicle and remove the gear lever boot.- Lock the gearbox hand control lever as follows:1. Raise the inhibitor (1a), rotate it clockwise through 90° and lower it until it is locked in the special housing (1b).
- Working in the engine compartment, introduce the two quick-fits for the hoses in the openings in the bracket keeping the cursors retracted and inserting them fully into the seats using manual pressure until they are attached. Release the cursors.- Using manual pressure connect the ends of the gear selection and engagement cables to the ball joints for the levers on the gearbox.1. Prepare the auto-adjustment device (quick adjuster) located on the gear selection cable by pulling the component (1a) backwards and lowering the spring (1b); release the component (1a) to keep the spring in position.
- When the adjustment is completed, release the gearbox hand control lever as follows:1. Compress the clip (1a), lift up the inhibitor (1b) and rotate it anti-clockwise through 90°.
