- With an Examiner connected in Voltmeter mode with the postive probe at pin 3 and the negative earthed at pin 1 and with the ignition key on, check for a voltage reading of 12 Volts- When an Examiner is connected in Voltmeter mode with the positive probe at pin 2 and the negative earthed, check for a voltage reading of 12 VoltsView of connector on insertion side.INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN-OUT
