199001804 - 2127OI WHAT TO DO DEPENDING ON THE ERROR PRESENT IN THE ROBOTIZED GEARBOX CONTROL UNIT (Robotized gearbox)

- The signal is received by the Robotized Gearbox control unit via the CAN line.- Select CAN information on the Examiner Plus or Smart and check for the presence of any faulty control units.- Check the state of the connections and the continuity of the line wiring, in particular between the control units signaled as faulty.

Clutch solenoid current

- Check the state of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Robotized Gearbox Electric Pump

Check the state of the electric pump relay and fuse.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.Check the insulation and the continuity of the electric pump wiring.

Oil drain accumulator error

Replace the accumulator    Op. 2127C44 PRESSURE ACCUMULATOR ON HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR UNIT - R.R.

Lever switch error (any one of the four or the Eco/Normal button)

Lever check

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment and select the "LEVER STATUS" display.Carry out all the possible selections using the buttons on the steering and using the gear lever (one at a time) checking that the change in status is correct on the Examiner Plus or Smart; the list of selections to be made is as follows:- Lever up (+) (forwards)- Lever down (-) (backwards)- Lever in neutral (N)- Lever in reverse (R)- Lever released

Eco button check

Select the display of the input status (ON/OFF) relating to the ECO button.Press and release the Economy selection button at the base of the gear lever and, at the same time, check on the Examiner that the status has changed.Select the AUTO mode using the lever and, at the same time, check on the Examiner Plus or Smart that the status has changed.

Control unit earths error

Check the tightening of the earths to the body and to the engine.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Microprocessor 2 error

Replace the Robotized Gearbox control unit    Op. 2127E10 HYDRAULIC SPEED SELECTION SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT - R.R.

Load relay error

Check the battery state following the specified procedure.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring. In particular, check the chain of elements providing the control unit supply (wiring, fuses, relay, etc.).

Pump relay error

Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring. In particular, check the chain of elements providing the electric pump supply (fuses, relay, etc.).
There have been cases in which the "fastons" housed in the relay holder have come loose.

CAN network errors

Check:- that the network sees all the control units (n.b.: warning that any control unit connected to the CAN could cause network operating problems).- the state of the connections and the continuity of the wiring for the CAN line. It is advisable not just to carry out a visual inspection of the connection, but to carry out a test placing it under mechanical stress (pull the wires, twist them, check whether the pins are loose, etc.).

Electromagnetic brake (Selection solenoid valve)

Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Odd gears or even gears engagement (engagement solenoid valves)

Carry out the active diagnosis of the solenoid valve. If the result of the test is not positive, move on to the next step.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.Carry out the active diagnosis of the solenoid valve once again.

Brake switch

The signal is received by the Robotized Gearbox control unit both via the wire and via the CAN line.Check the state of the brake switch.Turn the ignition key to the ON position.Connect the Examiner Plus or Smart diagnostic equipment and select the display of the input status (ON/OFF0 for the switch on the brake pedal.Press the brake pedal and check that the value displayed changes. If the change in status does not take place, check the switch on the brake pedal, its fastening, its position, the state of the connections and the wiring to the robotized gearbox control unit and the engine management control unit.

Clutch sensor

Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Engagement sensor (engine off)

If this error is present, the gear changes and the crankshaft are disabled.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Engagement sensor (engine on)

If this error is present, the gear change is slower than normal as a result of the system operating in recovery mode.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Sensor selection

If this error is present, the gear change is slower than normal as a result of the system operating in recovery mode.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Clutch disc speed (this signal is detected by the sensor which reads the speed of the main shaft)

Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.

Engine speed (from wire)

Check that the connection between the engine management control unit and Robotized Gearbox control unit is correct, given that this signal is sent from the engine management control unit via a dedicated wire.

Vehicle speed

The signal is received by the Robotized Gearbox control unit via the wire and is replicated on the CAN line.Check the condition of the connections and the continuity of the wiring.
