| 2 | Checking the clutch position signalUse the Examiner voltmeter to connect the positive terminal to pin 52 of the gearbox control unit and the negative terminal to pin 59Turn the key ON and ensure the reading is approximately 2.6 VoltsStart the engine, engage a gear and ensure the reading is around 1.6 Volts (clutch open position)Press the accelerator, take-off and ensure the voltage reading is around 1.8 Volts (clutch position closed) | Move on to Step 3 |

| 4 | Potentiometer operation checkDetach the potentiometer from the unit- Connect the probes across pins A and B of the potentiometer and check that the resistance value is 1260 Ohm ±10% at 20°C.- Connect the probes across pins C and B and check that resistance is 2280 Ohm ±10% at 20°C (with slide at rest) and 793 Ohm ±10% at 20°C(with slide at full scale deflection)- Connect the points between pins A and C and check that resistance is 978 Ohm ±10% at 20°C ( with slide at rest) and 2070 Ohm ±10% at 20°C(with slide at full scale deflection) | Replace potentiometer Op. 2127E44 HYDRAULIC SELECTION GEARBOX CLUTCH POSITION SENSOR - R.R. and use Examiner to carry out self-learning.
