STEPCHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1Turn the ignition key ON.With the engine off and all the electrical appliances off, air temperature (debimeter) should roughly correspond to environmental temperature.The test can be considered overMove on to Step 2
2Turn the ignition key OFF.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the air flow meter.Turn the ignition key ON.Measure the voltage across gauge Pin 1    See K041 AIR FLOW METER and the earth, checking that it is in a range between 4.8 and 5.2 V. Move on to Step 4Move on to Step 3
3Replace the debimeter    Op. 1060G10 AIR FLOW METER - R.R. The test can be considered overReplace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - R.R
