199004891 - 2127OE ELECTRIC PUMP OPERATION CHECK (Robotized gearbox)

STEPCHECK TO BE PERFORMEDREMEDIAL ACTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1Checking gearbox oil electric pump operationTurn the ignition key to the ON position.Connect the Examiner Plus or Smart diagnostic equipment.Using the Examiner Plus or Smart, check that the battery voltage is more than 11.5 V.Shift through the gears until the electric pump is activated.Move on to Step 2
2Checking the electrical systemCheck the continuity/insulation of the wiring between the oil pump and the gearbox control unitCheck the 30 A fuse F37 on the battery fuses control unit is intactCheck the continuity/insulation of the wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the gearbox control unitReplace the 30 A fuse F37 after having verified the cause of malfunction.    See E7051 ROBOTIZED GEARBOX Restore the continuity of the wiring between gearbox control unit and the electric pumpRestore the correct electric pump earth connection    See E7051 ROBOTIZED GEARBOX
3Check using ExaminerConnect Examiner and in active diagnosis mode check operation of the electric pump.Use a clamp ammeter to check that pump consumption is approximately 18 A, with battery voltage at least 11.5 VReplace the electric pump    Op. 2127C30 HYDRAULIC SPEED SELECTION SYSTEM PUMP - R.R. If the previous checks have not revealed any faults    Op. 2127E10 HYDRAULIC SPEED SELECTION SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT - R.R. Replace the robotized gearbox control unit
