Removing ( Refitting )

The procedure for the left driveshaft is described below. For the right driveshaft, refer to    Op. 2710A14 RIGHT DRIVESHAFT WITH JOINTS AND INTERMEDIATE DRIVESHAFT - R+R because it can only be removed together with the intermediate driveshaft.

    Op. 3310A60 FRONT BRAKE PADS - REPLACE     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.     Op. 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL 1. Remove the staking (1a), fit the tool (1b) and undo the wheel hub fixing nut.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the ABS rpm sensor (1b), move it aside.2. Undo the two bolts securing the shock absorber to the steering knuckle. 1. Unscrew the nut (1a), fit the tool (1b) and disconnect the steering link (1c) from the knuckle.

- Disconnect the knuckle from the driveshaft.1. Using a suitable tool, release and remove the driveshaft complete with joints. Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the driveshaft complete with joints in position.- Connect the steering link to the steering knuckle and tighten the nut to the specified torque.

- Connect the shock absorber to the steering knuckle using new bolts and tighten them to the recommended torque.

To tighten to torque, position the torque wrench on the nut and not on the bolt.

- Position the ABS rpm sensor in its housing and secure it using the bolt.- Tighten the new wheel hub securing nut to the recommended torque.
