Undo the lower bolt (1a) fixing the alternator (1b).

- Lower the vehicle.1. Undo uppper bolt (1a) fixing the alternator (1b).2. Loosen bolt (2a) securing anchorage bracket (2b).3. Turn the bracket and release the alternator.

- Raise the vehicle.1. Undo nuts (1a) and (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connections (2a) and (2b) for the alternator.

1. Undo nuts (1a) and disconnect the exhaust pipe flange (1b).2. Unscrew bolt (2a) of the power unit rear mount (2b).3. Push the power unit forward.4. Recover the alternator.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the alternator is not damaged.- Position the alternator.- Connect the electrical connections for the alternator and tighten the nuts.

1. Tighten bolt (1a) of the power unit rear mount (1b).

2. Undo nuts (2a) and disconnect the exhaust pipe flange (2b).

- Fit the lower alternator bolt in position without tightening.- Lower the vehicle.1. Fit the alternator with the upper anchorage bracket.2. Tighten the bolt of anchorage bracket (2a) and alternator retaining bolt (2b).
