Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL     Op. 0010T10 CHANGE ENGINE OIL     Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R     Op. 3310A60 FRONT BRAKE PADS - REPLACE     Op. 2710A14 RIGHT DRIVESHAFT WITH JOINTS AND INTERMEDIATE DRIVESHAFT - R+R     Op. 2710A32 INTERMEDIATE DRIVESHAFT BEARING SUPPORT - R + R WITH INTERMEDIATE DRIVESHAFT REMOVED     Op. 1076B72 INTERMEDIATE EXHAUST PIPE WITH HOSE SECTION - R+R 1. Undo bolt (1a) and remove the oil dipstick (1b). 1. Undo retaining bolt (1a) and remove the engine oil dipstick tube (1b).2. Undo screws (2a), bolt (2b) and remove the catalytic preconverter mounting bracket (2c). 1. Undo the bolts securing the air conditioner compressor mount to the engine oil sump.2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine oil level sensor.

3. Undo the bolts fixing the oil sump to the gearbox.4. Unscrew bolts (4a) securing the sump to the crankcase, camshaft side and gearbox side, with tool (4b).

5. Undo the side bolts fixing the crankcase sump.6. Remove the sealant using tool (6a) and remove the engine oil sump (6b).

Refitting ( Removing ) - Clean the residues of sealant from the mating surfaces between the engine block and the crankcase sump.- Apply a strip of silicone sealant to the contact surfaces between the crankcase sump and the engine block.

The sealant strip must be unbroken.

- Place the oil sump back in its housing.

When fitting the crankcase sump, take care not to damage the sealant strip.

Finish the installation operation within 10 minutes of applying the sealant.

- Tighten the side bolts fixing the crankcase sump.

- Tighten the bolts securing the sump to the crankcase, camshaft side and gearbox side, to the specified torque with the tool.

- Connect the electrical connection for the engine oil level sensor.- Tighten the bolts securing the air conditioning compressor mounting to the crankcase sump to the recommended torque.

- Place the catalytic preconverter mounting bracket in its housing and secure it by tightening the screws and bolt to the specified torque.
