Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine rpm sensor.

2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the rpm sensor (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the engine rpm sensor in its housing and secure it by tightening the bolt to the recommended torque.
