) For versions without DPF- Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Undo the retaining bolts and remove the front suspension reinforcement bracket.2. Undo the nuts (2a) securing the front flange to the precatalyzer and the nuts (2b) securing the rear flange to the catalyzer.3. Disconnect the intermediate exhaust pipe (3a) from the flexible mountings (3b) and remove it.

For versions with DPF Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 4410D17 REINFORCEMENT FOR FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER - R.R.1. Undo the nuts securing the intermediate exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter.2. Undo the nuts fixing the intermediate exhaust pipe mounting bracket.3. Disconnect the intermediate exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter and remove the gasket.

1. Undo the nuts securing the intermediate exhaust pipe to the DPF.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the intermediate exhaust pipe (2b) complete with mounting bracket.- Remove the gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) For versions without DPF- Place the intermediate exhaust pipe in its housing and secure it to the flexible mountings.- Tighten the nuts fixing the rear flange to the catalytic converter to the recommended torque.

- Tighten the nuts fixing the front flange to the catalytic preconverter to the recommended torque.

- Place the front suspension reinforcement bracket in its housing and secure it using the bolts. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Remove the vehicle from the lift. For versions with DPF- Place the seals in their housings.- Place the intermediate exhaust pipe complete with bracket in its housing and secure it to the bodyshell using the bolts.-Tighten the nuts fixing the intermediate exhaust pipe to the DPF to the recommended torque.
