Follow the safety instructions. Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS

- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant. Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipe from the compressor (1c).

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) and disconnect the bracket (2b) from the compressor.

- Raise the vehicle.1. Undo the bolt (1a) and release the mounting bracket (1b) for the intercooler air pipe (1c).2. Remove the band (2a) and release the pipe (1c).3. Remove the band (3a) and keep the pipe (1c).

1. Open the lower band (1a) and release the pipe (1b) from the bracket (1c) on the compressor (1d).

1. Disconnect the two rapid connectors (1a and 1b) for the evaporator-condenser pipe.2. Keep the pipe assembly.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the pipe is not damaged and does not have cracks that affect the seal.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

- Place the pipe in position and connect the two rapid connectors to the evaporator-condenser pipe.- Secure the pipe to the lower part of the compressor using the special band.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the compressor (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.

2. Fasten the upper bracket (2a) to the compressor using the bolt (2b).
