Follow the safety instructions Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS

- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant. Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R. Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER 1. Undo the bolt.2. Release the collar.3. Release the diesel filter and move it without disconnecting the pipes and the electrical connection.

1. Open the various bands securing the two branches of the pipe.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipe from the expansion valve (1c).

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and release the mounting bracket (1b).2. Undo the bolt (2a) and release the mounting bracket (2b).3. Disconnect the electrical connection on the linear pressure switch.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipe from the condenser (1c).

1. Disconnect the two rapid connectors (1a and 1b) for the compressor pipe.2. Keep the pipe assembly.- If necessary, remove the mounting brackets releasing the flexible bands.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the pipe is not damaged and does not have cracks that affect the seal.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

- If necessary, position the mounting brackets and secure them to the pipe using the flexible bands.- Place the pipe in position and connect the two rapid connectors to the compressor pipe.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the condenser (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection to the linear pressure switch.- Position the two mounting brackets and secure them using the bolt and the nut.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the expansion valve (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.
