Undo the bolt securing the steering column to the steering box pinion.
1. Undo the nut (1a) and, using the tool (1b), disconnect the steering rod (1c) from the steering knuckle.

2. Undo the nut (2a) and disconnect the joint (2b) from the anti-roll bar.
- Repeat the same operation on the right side.- Position a hydraulic lift underneath the front suspension.1. Undo the bolts (1a) securing the steering box (1b) to the suspension crossmember (1c).2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the suspension crossmember (1c) to the bodyshell.
- Operate the hydraulic lift to lower the suspension crossmember as necessary to remove the steering box. Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the steering box in position.- Operate the hydraulic lift and then provisionally fasten the suspension crossmember to the bodyshell using the bolts.

- If the above hydraulic lift is not available, use a general hydraulic lift plus the adaptor shown in the drawing, which must be made up by the workshop to allow the use of the above frames
(*): Ensure the shank diameter fits the hydraulic lift used1. Support the front suspension crossmember using the equipment (1a) prepared previously taking care that the adaptors (1b) are positioned in the axle-bodyshell centering openings as illustrated.2. Fit the crossmember (2a) definitively on the bodyshell tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque.
