FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The dipped headlamps activation signal is sent to pin 38 of connector D of the Body Computer M1 from the steering column switch unit H5    See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS Body Computer M1 - connector G - is supplied directly from the battery via a line protected by maxifuse F2 of engine compartment control unit B1; its ignition-controlled supply (INT) is received at pin 2 of connector D; pin 10 of connector H or M1 supplies the Body Computer with a reference earth. The Body Computer M1 controls the supply for the dipped headlamps sending an earth signal to relay T3 in the junction unit in the engine compartment B1 from pin 16 of connector A of M1 which energizes relay T3: this supplies the dipped headlamps and headlamp adjusment motors F10 (left) and F11 (right). Each circuit is protected by a fuse in the junction unit B1 : F14 for the left headlamp and F15 for the right. The control for the headlamp ajustment, located in the controls to the left of the steering wheel H91.Pin 1 of H91 receives a reference earth from pin 42 of connector D of M1.A control signal generated by the two keys + and - toward instrument panel E50 - pin 14 - leaves pin 3 of H91. Pin 8 of E50 receives an enablement signal (low beams on) while the control operating the adjustment motors built into the headlamps - pin 7 of headlamps F10 (left) and F11 (right) leaves pin 7 of E50.
