Removing ( Refitting )

Follow the safety instructions.    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS

- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant.    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.     Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 1048B50 SUPERCHARGING AIR-AIR HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R.1. Release the circlip using suitable pliers. 1. Remove the cover with the filter element.2. Recover the dehydrating element cartridge.

Seal the drier filter cartridge housing using a suitable plug to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the filter element and the cartridge of the dehydrating element are undamaged.

Replace the O rings for the connectors.

Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.

- Fit the dehydrating element and the cover with the filter element.- Attach the circlip.    Op. 1048B50 SUPERCHARGING AIR-AIR HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R.    Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Repressurize the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE
