) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R Op. 4410D17 REINFORCEMENT FOR FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER - R.R. Op. 1076B72 INTERMEDIATE EXHAUST PIPE WITH HOSE SECTION - R+R 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor.

1	Lambda sensor on pre-catalyzer	See K015 LAMBDA SENSOR ON PRE-CATALYZER

1. Loosen the bolt (1a) and undo the bolts (1b) for the catalytic preconverter mounting bracket (1c).2. Undo the oil dipstick tube retaining bolt.

1. Loosen the band and remove the hose from the rigid air delivery ppie to the heat exchanger.2. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the turbocharger vane position actuator.3. Undo the bolts securing the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger to the crankcase.4. Undo the fitting connecting the engine oil delivery pipe to the turbocharger from the crankcase.

- Lower the vehicle.1. Loosen the collar and disconnect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger and move aside.

1. Loosen collar (1a), unscrew bolts (1b) and remove the exhaust gas intake sleeve (1c).

1. Undo the fixing nuts and remove the heat shield from the right fan.2. Unscrew nuts (2a) and remove turbocharger unit (2b) from the cylinder head.- Remove the gasket.

1. Loosen collar (1a) and remove turbocharger catalytic preconverter (1b).2. Undo the bolts (2a) securing the engine oil return pipe (2b) and remove.3. Undo the connector (3a) for the oil delivery pipe (3b) and remove it.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the oil delivery pipe in position and secure it tightening the connector to the recommended torque.

- Position the engine oil return pipe in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the catalytic preconverter in its housing and tighten the collar to the recommended torque.

- Place the turbocharger unit complete with gasket back in its housing and secure it by tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.

- Place the right fan heat shield in its housing, then secure it using the nuts.- Refit the exhaust gas intake sleeve in its seat and secure with the collar and bolts.- Connect the air intake sleeeve to the turbocharger and refit in its seat. Secure with a collar.- Raise the vehicle.- Tighten the connector securing the engine oil delivery pipe to the turbocharger, crankcase side to the recommended torque.

- Tighten the bolts securing the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger, crankcase side, to the specified torque.

- Connect the vacuum pipe from the turbocharger vane position actuator.- Connect the hose from the rigid air delivery pipe to the heat exchanger and secure the collar.- Tighten the oil dipstick tube retaining bolt.- Place the catalytic preconverter mounting bracket in its housing and secure it using the bolts and screws.
