Turn on the radio and tune to a station or insert an audio CDPosition the red and black voltmeter probes on pins B1 and B2 and alternatively on pins firstly B3 and B4, B5 and B6 and lastly B7 and B8 of the radio output.Using the Examiner select a 20 Volt full scale deflection and 5 seconds, press the Start button and the values on the image that appears, evaluated with a tolerance of around 20%, should be similar to the following image:
When the voltage graph plot is amplified, the signal displayed should be similar to the following:
The presence of this graph, displayed at the radio output, indicates that it is operational.If the audio signal detected is as follows, the radio or wiring is faulty:
