FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Central diagnostic socket R10 is supplied directly by the battery at pin 16 of the line protected by fuse F45 of Body Computer M1; pins 4 and 5 are earthed.Pins 6 and 14 are connected to the C-CAN network: electric steering control unit M86, engine control unit M10, lABS/ESP control unit M50 and - in versions with ESP - yaw sensor K74 are monitored and diagnosed via this network.    See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES Pin 1 and 9 are connected to the B-CAN network: instrument panel E50, radio P20, Convergence control unit M162, TPMS control unit M47, climate control unit M70, supplementary heater M75, Air Bag control unit M60 and parking sensor control unit M84 are monitored and diagnosed via this network    See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES
