199003083 - P0403 EGR valve

This error is indicated in the event of a short circuit to earth (with detail of s.c. to earth), a break (with detail of open circuit) or a short circuit to positive (with detail of s.c. to +Vbatt) in the connection circuit to control unit Pin 60 or if the detected electronic control module temperature is not within the specified limits for at least 0.24 s (with detail of excessive temperature). As a result (except in the final case), the maximum power is reduced, the exhaust gas circulation valve is switched off and the turbocharging pressure can no longer be controlled.
