199003099 - P2100 Motorised throttle

This error is detected if the control unit recognizes a malfunction in the circuit through an internal logic evaluation: short circuit to earth/positive or break in the connecting circuit at Pin 52 of the junction unit.
Test results
1VISUAL CHECK ON CONNECTIONSAll OKProblems encounteredOperation
Disconnect the built-in throttle body actuator wiring harness on the engine control unit side and ensure the pins are intact and positioned correctly. Also check that they do not show signs of oxidation, burning or the presence of waterMove on to Step 2The wiring is faultyRestore or, if necessary, replace the faulty wiring
2CHECK PWM SIGNALAll OKProblems encounteredOperation
Connect a T braid between the motor wiring and the throttle body actuatorUsing the diagnostic tester in digital multimeter mode, check actuator Pin 6 to ensure    See N075 BUILT-IN THROTTLE BODY ACTUATORit is carrying a PWM (square wave) signal with bandwidth between 2 and 98%Move on to Step 3The signal is fully up or fully down (there is no square wave)Restore or, if necessary, replace the faulty wiring
3CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTAll OKProblems encounteredOperation
Check whether the following error is present on the diagnostic equipment- P2100Move on to Step 4Error P2100 is presentReplace the throttle body.    Op. 1060G50 THROTTLE BODY - R.R
4CHECK ON THROTTLE CASING OPERATIONAll OKProblems encounteredOperation
Check that the built-in throttle body actuator is working properly by carrying out the    See Test 1060GO INTEGRATED THROTTLE BODY OPERATION CHECKEnd of diagnosis
