Removing ( Refitting ) - Remove the radio or, alternatively, the radio compartment box.    Op. 5570T80 CAR RADIO EQUIPMENT - R+R     Op. 7040A78 RADIO CONSOLE - R.R.     Op. 7040A38 SUPPORT FOR RADIO - R.R.1. Remove the cover (1a) undoing the retainers (1b) using the special tool.

2. Loosen the control unit retaining bolts.3. Move the control unit.
1. Disconnect the electrical connections (1a, 1b).

2. Unscrew the transmission cable sheath end bolts.3. Disconnect the ends of the transmission cables from the control levers.4. Disconnect bulb holders (4a) and (4b) and release the electrical wiring from retainers (4c).5. Recover the control unit with the controls.6. If necessary, remove the control lighting bulbs (press-fit).
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the control unit with controls is not damaged.- If removed, fit the control lighting bulbs (press-fit).- Position the control unit with the controls.- Connect the bulb holder and connect the electrical wiring to the retainers.- Connect the ends of the transmission cables to the control levers.- Position the transmission cable sheath ends and secure with bolts.- Connect the electrical connections.- Position the control unit.- Tighten the control unit bolts.- Position the cover and attach the retainers.    Op. 7040A38 SUPPORT FOR RADIO - R.R.    Op. 5570T80 CAR RADIO EQUIPMENT - R+R     Op. 7040A78 RADIO CONSOLE - R.R.
