    Op. 1020A20 CRANKCASE OIL SUMP - R.R CLEAN SURFACES FOR SEALANT APPLICATION     Op. 1084B28 ENGINE OIL INTAKE PUMP - R + R WITH CRANKCASE SUMP REMOVED 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the connecting rod cap (1b) complete with half-bearing. 1. Remove the piston and connecting rod.- Remove the connecting rod half-bearing. Refitting ( Removing ) - The piston and connecting rod assembly is fitted following the references below.1. Piston class and arrow indicating timing side.2. Area where the number of the cylinder liner matching the connecting rod is stamped.3. Gudgeon pin offset

The matching of the connecting rod-cap is the "BREAKING" type therefore the position is compulsory and the number corresponding to the position of the cylinder must be present.

- Fit the piston-connecting rod assembly complete with half-bearing using a suitable tool to compress the piston rings and then fit the piston into the liner.- Place the connecting rod cap complete with half-bearing in its housing.- Tighten the connecting rod cap fixing bolts to the recommended torque.
