Removing ( Refitting )
Follow the safety instructions    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS
- Drain the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE - According to the vehicle engine type, remove any parts that prevent disconnection of the following pipes:- air conditioning system pipe connection on expansion valve.- fluid delivery and return pipes to the air conditioning casing heater.1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the air conditioning system pipe connector (1b) from the expansion valve.
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
1. Disconnect the air conditioner casing heater supply and return pipe quick connectors.
    Op. 5580C22 AIR BAG MODULE - PASSENGER SIDE - R.R - Remove both the doors.    Op. 7210E36 R.R. FRONT SIDE DOOR - Work on the left side.    Op. 5010C55 LOWER AIR DIFFUSER (ONE) LH OR RH - R.R     Op. 5505A32 BODY COMPUTER - R.R     Op. 5580E08 AERIAL FOR ELECTRONIC KEY (CODE) - R.R     Op. 4110D20 STEERING ELECTRICAL CONTROL DEVICE - R R     Op. 7040A89 REINFORCEMENT BRACKET BETWEEN DASHBOARD SUPPORTING CROSSMEMER AND BODYSHELL - R.R.    Op. 7040A98 INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM SUPPORTING CROSSMEMBER - R.R. WITH DASHBOARD REMOVED - Work on the left side.    Op. 5010B70 SIDE CONNECTOR (ONE)BETWEEN AIR. CON. CASING AND DUCT FOR REAR SEATS - R.R.1. Disconnect the earth lead.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection.

3. Release the condensate drain pipe (3a) from air conditioner casing fitting (3b).4. Remove the air conditioner casing.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the air conditioner casing is not damaged.- Position the air conditioner box.- Connect the earth lead.- Fit the condensate drain pipe to the air conditioner casing fitting.- Connect the electrical connection.- Connect the earth lead.    Op. 5010B70 SIDE CONNECTOR (ONE)BETWEEN AIR. Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
