| 1 | Check power supply (+15)- Connect using the Examiner in Voltmeter mode to the positive probe at pin 1 of connector and the negative probe earthed.- Turn the key to the on position and read the battery voltage of around 12 volt | - Restore the continuity of the connection between the body computer (pin 24 connector D) and the electric steering control unit (pin 1 connector B)- Check the continuity of the 7.5 A fuse F21 in the junction unit under the dashboard and if broken replace it checking out the cause. |
| 2 | Check earth connectionCheck the continuity of the connection between pin B of connector A and earth | Restore the continuity of the earth connection. |
| 3 | Check power supply (+30)Connect the Examiner in Voltmeter mode with the positive probe connected to pin A of connector A and the negative probe earthed. The direct battery voltage reading should be 12 Volt | Check the continuity of the 70 A fuse F6 in the battery junction unit and if broken replace it checking out the cause. |
