Removing ( Refitting )
Before removing and refitting the control unit the following preliminary operations must be carried out.- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it;- Disconnect the battery leads and insulate them.- Wait for 10 minutes before continuing.

CON. CASING AND DUCT FOR REAR SEATS - R.R.1. Release the protection.2. Disconnect the electrical connections (2a and 2b) for the control unit.

3. Undo the nuts.4. Remove the control unit.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Observe the following precautions.
Do not knock or strike the control unit. Do not connect the electrical connections to the control unit before having secured the control unit correctly. Make sure that the battery is disconnected.
In the case of replacement, remove the detachable part of the adhesive label from the new module and place it in the special folder containing the vehicle details (model, registration date, chassis number) and the serial number of the old control unit. The file should be kept for future checks.
1. Position the control unit (1a). Make sure that the arrow (1b) on the top of the control unit is facing the direction of travel.2. Tighten the fixing nuts to the recommended torque.
