Follow the safety instructions    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS
- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE     Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER 1. Disconnect the electrical connection.
DescriptionComponent
LINEAR SENSOR FOR FANS    See K120 LINEAR SENSOR FOR FANS
2. Disconnect retaining collars (2a) from pipe (2b).3. Undo the bolt (3a) and disconnect fitting (3b) from condenser (3c).4. Disconnect the pipe (4a) from condenser (3c).
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
1. Working from below the vehicle, withdraw bolt (1a) and disconnect pipe fitting (1b) from the expansion valve.2. Press the tabs (2a) on the rapid connector (2b), then disconnect the pipe (2c), first pushing it downwards and then pulling it upwards.3. Release the pipe from the collar on the bulkhead.- Lower the vehicle.4. Disconnect the pipe from the side band.5. Remove the pipe.
- If necessary, remove the linear transducer.    Op. 5040B20 AIR CONDITIONING LINEAR PRESSURE TRANSDUCER - R.R. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor is not damaged and it does not have cracks that affect the seal.
Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
Op. 5040B20 AIR CONDITIONING LINEAR PRESSURE TRANSDUCER - R.R. 1. Position the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor.2. Connect the pipe to the side band.- Raise the vehicle.3. Connect the pipe to the collar on the bulkhead.4. Connect the rapid connection pipe.5. Connect the connector (5a) for the pipes to the expansion valve and secure it tightening the nut (5b) to the specified torque.
