Loosen the band and disconnect the heat exchanger air supply pipe, turbocharger side.2. Loosen the bands and disconnect the waste gate valve pipes.3. Undo the nuts (3a) and remove the turbocharger and exhaust manifold assembly (3b).

Do not use the actuator rod for lifting the turbocharger or any movements in the workshop.

- Keep the seal. - Place the turbocharger and exhaust manifold assembly in a vice fitted with protective jaws.1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the turbocharger (1) from the exhaust manifold (1c).- Keep the gasket, check the condition of the studs and replace them if necessary. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit a new gasket on the turbocharger.- Place the turbocharger in position and tighten the new nuts fixing it to the exhaust manifold to the recommended torque.

- Fit the new exhaust manifold gasket on the cylinder head studs.- Place the turbocharger and exhaust manifold assembly in position and tighten the nuts to the recommended torque.
