This procedure involves refitting the fixed glass after breaking it. The same glass is not removed and refitted.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Using suitable equipment, cut and level the bead of sealant (take care with the sharp pieces of remaining glass) in the windscreen housing leaving a thickness of between 0.25 and 1 mm, taking care not to scratch the paintwork. The thickness of the sealant remaining in the housing will act as a support for the new bonding.2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the glass fragments from the fixed window compartment. Vacuum up all the glass fragments from other parts of the vehicle3. Thoroughly clean the fixed window housing using an air jet and degrease fully using heptane. When bonding, 60 minutes after the bead of sealant has been cut and levelled, the surface of the actual sealant must be treated using the special activating product and it is necessary to wait for 15 minutes before fitting the fixed window.

If necessary, retouch the paintwork.4. Apply the required spacers to prevent the glass sinking.
Check that the new glass is not damaged.1. Degrease the screen-printed perimeter (bonding area) of the new window using heptane.2. Apply the glass adhesion promoter (primer) (2b) to the screen printed perimeter (bonding area) using the wick (2a) supplied in the Kit.
Wait for about 15 minutes before continuing with the next operation to allow the adhesion promoter (primer) thinner to evaporate.
Ensure the front sliding roof is fully closed (at the end of its travel)1. Apply sucker handles (1b) to glass (1a) and carry out a test installation, then centre the glass in its seat carefully.2. Also check the reciprocal position of the glass (1a) along the front profile (2a) and the rear profile (2b): check the measurements are as shown in the details in the figure. Adapt the support spacers if necessary (2c).3. After centring the glass correctly, mark the reciprocal position between glass and seat using adhesive tape sections.
1. Cut the adhesive tape strips.2. Remove the window glass.
1. Using an air gun apply a bead of sealant along the perimeter of the screen (bonding area) as evenly as possible.

Start the operation from the centre of the rear side and continue without breaks along the entire perimeter of the glass.
1. Place the windscreen in the housing, with the assistance of a second mechanic, straight after applying the sealant and let it bed in.2. Position glass (2a) correctly along the front profile (2b) and rear profile (2c) (respect the measurements shown in the details in the figure).
1. Position strap (1a) from inside the vehicle as shown in the figure and apply tension in order to maintain the glass (1b) in the correct position as shown in the previous points
Before refitting the vehicle interior and exterior elements, check that there are no infiltration points by carrying out a water leakage test.    Op. 7030B37 FIXED GLASS BLIND - R.R    Op. 7040H16 ROOF PANEL LINING FOR VERSIONS WITH SUN ROOF - R.R     Op. 7030B34 SLIDING ROOF COMPARTMENT DECORATIVE SEAL - R+R     Op. 7030B64 SUN ROOF CONTROL SWITCH - R+R     Op. 7065C30 GRAB HANDLE (ONE) LEFT, RIGHT OR CENTRE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT INTERIOR - R.R     Op. 7040E10 FRONT COURTESY LIGHT - R+R     Op. 7065C34 SUN BLIND (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7040H30 FRONT PILLAR TRIM (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7040H38 CENTRE PILLAR UPPER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R     Op. 7050A22 REAR SEAT CUSHION - R+R    Op. 7040L40 FRONT DOOR RUNNING BOARD (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7040H42 REAR PILLAR TRIM (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT- R.R     Op. 7065C86 CURRENT SOCKET IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT - R.R.    Op. 7040G30 BOOT LIGHT BULB HOLDER - R.R.
