Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Disconnect electrical connection (1a), undo the bolt and remove knock sensor (1b).

Refitting ( Removing ) - Position the detonation sensor in its housing and tighten the new bolt to the recommended torque.
