The flywheel is the dual mass flywheel or DVA for improved damping of torsional vibrations and a reduction in noise.The flywheel consists of:- main flywheel made from steel;- main flywheel cover made from steel;- secondary flywheel made from cast iron with the clutch plate support plane;- variable load internal springs covered in special grease.The ring gear where the starter motor pinion engages is fitted on the main flywheel.
